sportline trim help

Please can any one help me i own a w124 coupe sportline, i desperately need a new sportline gear lever for auto. I have been informed by my local dealer that they are no longer available from merc, they say its to old (bah humbug) :mad:
I have tried ebay and specialists but no luck as yet.
Any help greatfully recieved
