sports pack w203 brake shoe removal

Hi is this a big job as anybody got details of tools required eg like what do you get the pins out with that are holding shoes in,cheers.

front pads

Sorry I meant front pads and not shoes for the brakes

The pins can be pushed out using a suitable punch.

When they are punched back in make sure they go all the way.

Also make sure the pin is in good condition.

Your car is new enough to be able to push the pistons back without worry though it is better to clamp and undo the nipples, make sure that the new pads slid in easily, file or sand off the paint on the edges if they do not, and or clean the channels
