Spotted in a Field...

Went for a Sunday afternoon walk today and spotted these 2 rusting away in a nearby field

Ponton & and Fintail:

The landowners Caravan was in a worse state that the cars to be honest!

Just looked on Google Earth, since 2010 the Ponton has moved, and there are loads more behind those barns.

Would love to look around except I dont want a Shotgun to the face

Very sad to see them decaying, some people would rather keep them till they die, than let them go to someone who has the wherewithall to save them.

This is the problem he seems to think leaving them out side then hand painting them wouldnt affect the price!!

I went to look at a 1950s 190D at that farm a few years ago. There are a lot more cars there, all of them in a terrible condition. The owner did not live there at the time but rented the plot. I am sure I took some pictures at the time and posted them here.

That's the place. I had spotted one of his ebay listings and had a look. He had a couple of older S class' at home too. He also had fintail coupe that would have looked great if restored.
