The obvious solution that springs to mind would be to fit an intercooler and have the fueling and boost altered to match. This should at least equal a 312 or be better if you have a custom made performance intercooler fitted. The beauty of this solution is that all the parts are easily available from the 312 if you want to source from a breakers.

That's if you can find a 312 in the breaker's...

PS. If you do, let me know cos I need a MAP sensor.

Can an intercooler be fitted straight in with no other mods.??? would that on its own give the desired result??
wouldn't mind trying that myself.

the 310 has a intercooler same as the 312,, just change the ecu for a 312, or get it chipped,

the 310 and 312 ecus arent compatible i dont think due to the 312 looking for abs signals etc. also i think the 312 uses a larger turbo.
the 310 is a pretty good performer when its on song. it should hit 95 all day long,100 down hill, they just dont go up hill so fast! ( i did 125000 in mine. miles not miles per hour! )

CCC technology -highly recommended,140 bhp claimed and it certainly feels like it!The drivetrain is less impressed with the extra power though.........

Tunit doa chip for the 310 and 312, they claim 145bhp and 255n i think havn't tried it i'm a bit skeptical to be honest, and they are pretty fast as is, your never gonna get much over a ton due to the gearing anyway, I think you can get 2 different difs for them 1 which allows about 110-115mph and a shorter geared one that tops out about 100, which seems to be present on my 312.

Also AFAIK both engines have intercooler just different mapping.

Surely if your van isn't white already get it sprayed white!!

Everyone knows a white van is the quickest, also if they havn't been removed already as they are not needed get rid of the indicators, extra weight simply not used in a van

I thinkthe best performance mod you can get is a VEg oil conversion kit, doesn't matter how much HP you got your never gonna make use of it with diesel at over 110 a litre. Thats why even 315's and the like can't keep up with me for very long at 49ppl! haha
