sprinter 310d injector leak off pipe

About 18 months ago,some of the above pipes started to leak,so I bought a length of fuel pipe and replaced the defective ones.A smell of diesel in the cab today,led to the discovery that the replacement pipes have cracked.Is there a specific type of fuel pipe for diesel?The pipe I have used is overbraided rubber marked with a din number and "type b".Any ideas?

That sounds like the correct mb type rubber hose, however unfortunatly you cannot say how long that particular length of pipe has sat on the shelve before you bought it for.

It should last a few years at least.
