Has this happend to anyone else, my van engine cuts out when i am slowing down or at idle, it can happen anytime and there can be weeks in between each occasion. The ecd light on the dash lights up, then the engine dies, if i leave it approx 20mins then it will start again and it may not happen again for weeks. I have had dealers, MB specialists and auto electrians look at it and after approx £800 the fault is still there. I have had the 'fuel rail' sensor and the 'fuel' sensor changed, also all the fuel lines have been replaced and the fault is still there. The auto electrian looking at it is very good and he has advised that the fuel pressure is extremaly high when the fault happens, but even he is now stumped as to what can be causing the fault. The same fault codes show everytime, these have been cleared in between each 'cut out' and when the codes are read again they show the same ones. Can anyone offer any advise.
