Can anyone tell me roughly how the fly by wire system works? Does the pedal produce a variable resistance from a potentiometer or is it a bit more complicated than that, servos etc?
I'm looking to design and fit a cruise at 60 mph switch.
many thanks

There's no servo's involved, it's all done by the engine management computer.

This is the wiring diagram, I'd like to get hold of the resistor values myself and have a go at building my own custom controller...

Anyone know the values ??

Can't you unplug it and put a multimeter on to check the resistances?

If I had it yes, :D that's the reason I want the values, so I can build something equivalent, to my own design.
