I am experiencing starting problems with my 313cdi.On a frosty morning van will take ages to start from cold-it will have to turn over for 2-3 mins!!When warm it is fine.I have been told heater plugs are working ok,filters have been renewed.Generally van runs fine apart from this.Any suggestions??

Black plastic non return valve on top of the fuel filter, £0.48p or an injector, £485, take your pick which to try first. You need to get them spill port tested to find which injector is draining back.

313 cdi

Thanks very much for this, this is very helpful advice. My mechanic has had all electrical tests done on heater plugs & relay etc and with your advice and the previous comments made (thanks also) it looks very likely that this is the problem-I will let you all know.

313 cdi starting problems

As diagnosed by Dava and Mr.Cee it was indeed one of the injectors which was knackered.
Wish I had posted question earlier on this site as this has caused me grief for the last few months.THANKS AGAIN
