Sprinter 313 Cuts out when i press brake

Please could someone help, My 2000 313CDi with sprintshift has started cutting out when i press the brake after starting my van. It has cut out now and again when driving and all the clocks and dash lights go off.

I have checked for loose connections with no luck.

hi there lee i have the same merc fault as ures i press the brake sometimes and it cuts out also when i press my indercator down its only now and again any joy with yours
