Sprinter 313CDi cuts out

i have a 2000 313CDi that cuts out when i press the brake after starting the van. It also cuts out sometimes when i operate indicators or wipers.
The clocks also stop working when driving.

I have checked for loose connection with no luck.
Please does anyone have any ideas
