Hi,

I've got a 1998 Sprinter 310, which has remote alarm/immobiliser.

When I bought the van it only came with one key and fob (which is getting to it's last legs!). Other than a Merc. dealer, does anyone know where I can get hold of a couple of blank fobs (have local locksmith who has kit to program them)??

Many thanks

Hi, I have a similar problem in that I have recently acquired a sprinter with remote locking but I didn't get any remote bleepers with the van.
I searched around and found that they are for sale on ebay.
There seems to be two types - 2 button or 3 button. I have bought both types, each for around £13. However I haven't taken the van to be programmed yet. I'm hoping that at least one of them will work.
All I did was type "mercedes remote" into the search window of ebay.co.uk. If you're not too familiar with ebay the general rule is to buy from someone with a good feedback score.
Hope this helps.

Hi

My first post!

Ive just bought an A class - Classic, only got 1 key and the key only works in the ignition and not in any of the barrels in the doors, well it lets me lock the drivers door but cant unlock it.

Now Ive done some research and found that all A - Classes come with remote central locking as standard and I think they are the 2 button flip type.

Can someone please tell me roughly on how much it costs to have a fob programmed to my car? Or can it be done by yourself?

Thanks
