Morning all,

Our 58 E220cdi seems to have developed a mouse in its (none air) front suspension, on bumps, lumps and errrrrr roads really.
Are there any well known points to look at or is it a pull it to bits and wobble it all job?

Always a good idea to lubricate all suspension bushings with silicone lubricant spray.

Mine started squeaking a little while ago too. When I searched on here and youtube, front lower ball joint, the one in the steering knuckle looks to be a likely suspect.
I'm hoping they are correct as I've bought the part, just waiting for some time to do the.job. incidentally, the Lemforder part at Halfords was only £19.

I had a squeak at low speed that disappeared then the headlights started get lower and lower. The level sensor on the upper r/h wishbone had seized and then snapped the bracket off.
