Squeaky seats

Okay I know at 17 Stone I should lose some weight but the drivers seat has started to squeak quite badly when going onn uneven roads as I merrily bounce on top. The car has the leatherette seats as per the sports pack in a 2004 c180.

is there a cure I can administer (please not "lose some weight!!") or can the $tealer do something on warranty?

I am surprised because 17 stone isnt that abnormal - or is it?!

LOL That made me laugh out loud..

My 190 drivers seat has a nasty squeak that drives me mad also. It comes from the backrest. But after 15 years and 125.000 miles, i can let it off for the odd rattle and squeak.

Try some WD40 on the moving parts of the seat,and stop bouncing on the seat.

yes there is a known fix the dealers should do it on warrenty its to lube the front seat crossbar bearings
