Hello everybody,
I own a CLK W208 with about 35,000Km. My front and rear brake pads and discs were changed a couple weeks ago and the car has justed started making a strange squeeking noise when i go from N to D mode on the auto gear box. It really sounds like a bed with really old springs... But its not the shock absorbers or the springs because when the gears shift while driving, it does the same thing...
Anybody have any ideas as to what could be going on? The noise is of course only coming from the back but its driving me nuts. You should see the look on people's face when i'm parking and they hear this really cheap sound coming from such a nice car...
Any help would be greatly appreciated before i go through the dealer... I can't imagine how many parts he's going to want to change this time...
