Squeeky 124 steering wheel

Annoying squeek when steering wheel is turned, I put it down to damp Autumn mornings but problem seems to persist.

Will I have to take it off and lubricate or is the problem deeper in the column ?

Sure that some of you good people will have cracked this one before

Sounds like something is worn,,,have someone turn the steering and try and listen to see where the problem is located...

ABOUT YOUR STEERING WHEEL SHAKE YOUR STEERING WHEEL TO SEE IF YOU HAVE ANY PLAY OR MOVEMENT IN IT IF IT IS LOSE THE REASON WHY YOU GET SQUEEKING AS THE NUT WILL BE LOSE IF IT AINT TAKE THE PLASTIC CASE OF WHERE THE INDICATORS AND WINDOW WIPERS ARE AND SPRAY WD40 INTO THE SMALL HOLE HOPE THIS HELPS WITH YOUR PROBLEM.
