Hi all,
My MB is a E250 D 1995 W210.010
As a diesel engine one should wait until diesel preheat cluster lamp is off. Next to that is the SRS lamp which goes off also after 4-5 secs.
Once you crank and engine starts SRS light comes on and then goes off after a few secs.
This is what SHOULD happen.
In my case now:
I have been experiencing Battery problems.
(I have posted some of them)
To make a long story short...just 2-3 days before the battery dies I realized that the SRS lamp stopped light on at all...
I thought this is because of the tired old battery, so didn't pay any attention.
Today I went to the electrician and replace the battery.
When I began the starting proccedure the SRS light didn't come on at all...again.
Is it because of the voltage drop (due to the dying old battery)?
Is it because the cluster lamp is burned off?
Is it because the car computer is confused because of the voltage drop?
Any suggestions please??
Yesterday out of the blue SRS light came on while driving for some secs and then went off.
The second question is for Headlight bulbs...
Has anyone tried OSRAM H7 64210 COOL BLUE (55 W)?
Or any other OSRAM ? Are they effective? Would you recommend them?
How much in the states and since I am located in Greece/Europe..How much in Europe?
My Electrician wanted 15 Euros for each one.
Would you trust H7 at 66 Watts? (heat effect)
Thanks everyone
