SRS light on a ml 320

Iv just noticed the srs light is coming on,it is not on regular as it comes on and goes off when it feels like.The ML320 is a 2000 model aint noticed any other probs like as be mentioned in other threads.any info will be appreciated thanx.

Do you use child seats in the front, a srs light coming on and then going of is often related to a problem with the child recongnition system on the front passenger seat. i would say you need to get the fault codes read.

I think you have hit the nail on the head with this.As iv been the only 1 in the ml this week and the light aint come on once,and this morning i droped my wife off to work.as soon as she got in the passanger seat the light came on as soon as she got out the light went off.
