SRS Light wont go out

Just bought an X reg 2001 C180 Avantgarde, the SRS light wont go out, everything looks to be in order , anybody got any ideas , thanks

If the SRS light is on your airbags and seat belt tensioners will not operate in an accident.
You should have the fault codes read to find the problem and have this repaired as soon as possible.
Any Mercedes dealer or specialist will be able to do this for you, also many auto electricians have the gear to do this job.

For data code read out B1058 and B2DBO in air bag control unit

these are the only codes listed where there has been a modification, yours may not be this of coarse.

The only listed one is to change the airbag control unit Part number 001 820 97 26

Its really as GC220GJS say you will have to get the code read. An indie can do this.
