Srs light

I have a1997 r129 and had to jumpstart the other day since then the srs light is on I bought a diagnostic tool and it resets the light but after a few days it will come on again although no one has sat in the passenger seat any help would be appreciated

Sorry I didn’t get the code only know what a garage told me that it was the passenger seat where the fault was and because I had jumped the car that what’s caused it and charged me £120 to reset but it came on after a few days that was the reason I bought the icarsoft reset scanner so I can reset myself but I wondered if there was a way to fix it permanently thanks for your reply

Will try and get the code tomorrow do you think that by jump starting the car it would have burnt out the seat (skeleton) sensor in the passenger seat base

Tried to reset srs with my icarsoft mb v10 which I have been able to do but it does not seem to work the only code it sends is f which alternates between n/a or ok the code f also is there for the seat belt and anything else that it relates to getting annoyed now any help please
