Abs. Esp. Pre safe. Loss of speedo. Loss of power steering. Can be ok for days ,then comes back. Can happen at 5mph or 70 mph. Can happen when I use cruise control sometimes not ....

Something will be stored for sure. It might be something simple like a wheel speed sensor, or it could be a canbus issue at the other extreme

Please tell me the cars tested and faults found using star and not just codes read like I can do with icarsoft reader.

Sometimes live data can point the way. I use a cloned xentry on a Dell and it sure has paid for itself. On the three Benz I currently run, it must have saved me some thousands.
But I find that there is often some headsratching to get back to the stage of familiarity that I reached on the previous use of it.
I will get the hard drive into a small tough book when chance crops up.

Can I ask where you got it?
I've played around with the idea for some time, failed to get a WIS download to work even with some good help from the forum, so I'm loathe to venture into that again.
I've a carsoft so that has kept me right so far.

I had the car on star today, 17 hardcoded faults found , all deleted .

Also flagged up the passenger side headlight wasn't coded in .

I did think it had had a replacement headlight after purchase as the lines were slightly out on the bonnet compared to drivers side.
