Start Error

My CL500 (1999) as of yestarday will crank but will not start, no matter what. It gives "Start Error" message. After so many tries yesterday, i gave up. This morning, it started the first time, no error message. I went to work and parked it. After about three hours, the same thing again - "Start Error", cranks but does not start.

Crankshaft position sensor? Call mobilo, they have star diagnosis on board.
