Steering Wheel Noise heard

Hi Folks.

I have a 1992 190E and I am experiencing an issue when turing the steering wheel to the left after taking off from a stop. I hear a tone/vibration when turning. This does not happen when I turn
the car to the right. :?

Has anyone experienced this or know what the cause might be?

Are you saying the noise is from the wheel itself? It so, it could be the horn contact on the steering column scraping on the contact ring on the steering wheel boss.
