Hello again,

E320 cdi - w210 (2001 model).

When turning the steering in the car, it feels as though the steering wheel is rubbing - only at low speeds.

I've looked around the steering wheel, covers, etc, and nothing in the way. I've checked the under bonnet fluids too and nothing strange.

Any ideas? Thanks.

could also be the handbrake side cover being hit by the steering U/J, thats not un-common!

my 210 had a small rubbing squeak on the steering. After lubricating the column bushes a couple of times without success, the dealer replaced the rack which cured it - so try the above, lubricating the bushes, then live with it I'm afraid.
