I have a 1981 W123 200 which has a sticking bonnet release.When lever is pulled in car not a lot happens !I don't think the cable is broken but I need to get some oil in the old girl,so does anybody have a temporary solution before I take it to my local Merc man,who obviously will charge a goodly sum !
