anyone had a result in fixing sticky needles. my speedo has decided to kick in at 30mph. the fuel and temp choose when to come in to work aswell.
i noticed about 4 months ago that the speedo didnt move until i got above 10mph but know i am risking getting tickets.

i took it to my specialist and they wanted to diagnose it for 40quid. but i think its a simple fix and not a fault code.

i have noticed i get this problem after trips on the motorway.

Hi Paresh
Do a search on sticky needles. I posted details and pictures on this subject. When I did this I forgot to say that once you get the inst pod out, you need to open it by unclipping about 6 clips moulded into the outside of the panel. this allows the the rear section with the actual instruments attached to be pulled out.Dont try to remove the clear plastic cover, its glued on. I was amazed at how sticky the needles and pins were, Im amazed that they moved at all. Remember to disconnect the battery first !.
