One of my sunroofs has become intermitant. I took the switch apart and it looked not to bad. I put it back in and the problem remained.

I tried it with the radio off and then I heard a relay clicking at the rear every time I tried the switch, so I think the switch is OK.

I guess that the relay drives a motor somewhere. What should I look for?

Your Mercedes
c238,w120 (diesel)
onn my old 190D., the sunroof didnt work at all, i'd press the buttons, here a noise at the rear of the car but nada

so i went into the boot to investigate, on the left hand side of the boot (after removing the interior covering) i located a 'device' which looked like a hand driven thingymebob to open/close the sunroof... after twiddling with it for some minutes lo-and behold the sunroof worked. and worked and worked

so, if your car was/is anything like mine, start looking in the boot, and locate what looks like a round long cylindrical device with an 'arm' strapped beside it, you can connect the arm and start twiddling/manoevering it just like me

cheers
