I put a post on the other day re-220cdi 2001.
I thought i had a problem with the high pressure fuel pump as it became difficult to start then stopped altogether.
When i cranked it over there was air coming from the injector with the pipe cracked open. ???
I turned it over today with the inlet pipe off the high pressure pump & no fuel came out ???could it be the low pressure pump at fault, what i need to know is where is the low pressure pump situated ? is it the one above the high pressure pump ? if not is it mechanical or electric?? & wher is it.
