off the key fob when locking the car , LCD cluster repaired so I can see what I'm selecting now , put the mirrors to on for folding when locking but no kiss no bang bang , whats going on ??

after a bit of googoiling , iv read that the CL didn't get auto fold till 2004 and if it has the option in the convenience settings then its likely the cluster has been replaced and not coded properly , so it shows it as available when it isn't ??

If you own a CL from new , your drive is so fu#£&ng wide you don’t need to fold the mirrors in , an E class maybe you are in a more modest house

That is a strong possibility.
I had a drivers side door control module replaced and it needed coding on Star for the folding mirrors to work again.
But it does seem strange they fold on the mirror fold button but not the remote??
