Stop start not working

Thanks Blobcat. I really do think it's a battery issue.
I have one of those charging meters that plug into the cigar lighter and it shows around 14 volts when the engine is running and around 12.2 when the engine is off. I suppose that is the main battery that it is reading and I know it is not as accurate as a proper volt meter.

Excuse the ignorance but what is a battery conditioner?
