Storage of R129 roof in London?

Looking at picking up a 300SL on the weekend and am wondering where to put the roof.

We live in a basement flat in London so not really an option to have it in the lounge - does anyone around use a storage place either in London or outside it to store the roof?

Can't think of any other options myself

PS: are the front lamp wipers hard to fix, one seems stuck halfway up

Some garages will store your hard-top.

The wipers aren't hard to fix - though parts aren't cheap. A blade is £18 alone.
