Good evening

Swapped my alarm siren today (along with water pump) and found a bag wedged inside front wing (w220) which seemed to be full of liquid. Not a drain channel and I an completely flummoxed, anyone any idea what it is or what it is for?

Any pictures? What type of bag, any writing on it, logos? How was the bag secured? How was it sealed?

Bit more info would be helpful..

Absolutely right sorry.

Bag was balck rubber - appeared sealed top and bottom, wedged in corner of front wing and bulkhead, drain channel for bulkhead completely seperate with plastic doownpipe.

Didn't take any photo's as wasn't expecting to see it and not at home where I did the job.

Possibly (just a guess) some sort of device to stop vibration?

Were there any pipes leading to it from either front seat?
Also is it filled with a tangy yellow liquid ?

not sure - couldn't see any pipes going to or from.

No idea of liquid inside.
