Strange COMAND behaviour

I've got a 2009 E320 - COMAND APS with DVD changer, it says on the VIN record the instruction book.

I first had a problem with automatic change over from summer to winter time. It changed a week early (up to now it's always changed over automatically, no issues). To get over the clock showing the wrong time, I switched off the automatic change over and set the correct time manually. Just to see what's happening now, I switched on automatic change over (for GB, where I am) and the clock changed - it's now an hour ahead of what it should be. Well, that's one irritating thing.

Now I've discovered that although the radio works perfectly with DAB, it won't work with FM. All I get with FM is the hissing sound you get when your radio can't find a channel.

I virtually always use DAB, if I'm using the radio (I don't use the radio that often) and only today tried FM - in fact I can't remember when I last used FM.

So what's happening? Is is the antenna for FM that's dead? Maybe the DAB antenna is separate from FM antenna (sorry, I don't know anything about antennas). And if FM is down, could that be the reason for the automatic switch over from summer to winter time isn't working?

It's due for a service very soon, so I'll as them to check it - but if anyone has any insights it would be good to know.

Many thanks in advance!

Had this recently in my W251 - comand 2.5. The time jumped an hour by having it on satellite with GB as country.
Have changed the location to Albania to get the right time.
I say MB no longer do software updates for these to keep the comand future proof.

I have the same in my w220 - date has flipped back to 2003. Covered on the forum years ago.

Ask the dealer when it goes in and post back. Would be interested to know if they are still updating the command software at MB

Noit sure about your particular model but the last update for my 07 E350 is 2015 apparently; although, that is what I have been now told or that has been infered.

I am not sure if it has a dual band antenna or two separate ones. But have a look at the back of the radio & you will soon know.
If it has two antenna inputs, disconnect the FM one & insert a wire about 1 metre long. If the antenna is faulty you should then hear something on FM.
