strange noise

i have started hearing a faint air related sound coming from what seems to be the front left hand side of the car , was wondering wether it could be the aircon or something??? its a bit hissing like but its not the exhaust as i have had that checked. seems to have started recently with all the local flooding and heavy rain but maybe thats just me being strange:razz:

Is the noise in the cab or under the bonnet, if in the car do all of the heater flaps work oK

Anychance of recording the noise so that we can hear it

i cant work out wether its under the bonnet or not but ive tried all the heater flaps

could it be water thats got onto one of the pulleys and dried it out?

ive noticed that the noise dies down when steering sometimes and below 35mph. it sounds a bit like something that has lost lubrication and has dried out if that helps?
