I have done a search of the site and kind find an answer that fits.
Apologies all round if I missed something basic.
Thing is my otherwise faultless W202 C200 has developed an odd noise that sounds for all the world like someone stirring a tin mug of tea with a wooden spoon!? I know it sounds weird, but that's what it sounds like to me!?
A bit like a Constant Velocity joint noise on a front wheel drive car, only this isn't of course and a lot, lot quieter.
It occurs only when I pull away in traffic and only then, after a few seconds it stops and all seems well.
I suspect a wheel bearing or maybe the prop-shaft but the car has recently been serviced and nothing showed up then so I thought I would put it to you all and see what you think. It may be nothing but if it is a sign of something more serious I would rather know now that let it become expensive.
Thanks.
