Just bought a Designo Alanite R129 320 from the SL Shop, early days but I'm lovin' it so far ! There's a strange object bolted into the lockable "Spectacles Box" in the dashboard. It looks like a solid cup holder, but can't be pulled or rotated out far enough and certainly wouldn't be able to hold a cup on the move.

I've attached a photo, any ideas ?

Looks like a navigation suction mount, it has been added, but nicely done.

Yup, you are absolutely right, Tom-Tom fits there a treat. It also explains the not-so-random USB cable discretely emerging nearby ! Thanks for helping me not mess up my window !

My favourite SL colour combo - enjoy. Wish I could stretch to one at the moment

Thank you, my piggy bank no longer rattles when shaken :-( Hoping that R129 prices will stabilise over the next couple of years. I looked at a shed, a minter with a limp-home gearbox and a top-priced disappointment before getting lucky with this one.

The difference between a good one and a bad one is huge, in many cases it is impossible to make a bad one good. The interior is a good example, and expensive to work on. I had a mint one. :D
