If my E220cdi has been standing for a few days, I have to release the parking brake by pulling the handle and pulling the pedal up with my foot. Once warmed up the brake releases fine and in the summer its no issue. What bit needs attention?
Well my 209 CLK was prone to the parking brake being reluctant to release, particularly in cold weather.. However I've now had it 2 years and with regular use it seems to have cured itself. Maybe just use it more, assuming you don't use it much already. Otherwise look elsewhere on this forum for advice.
You can use GT85 lubricant spray , point the GT85 up where the brake pedal lever comes down and spray all the joints , have some paper towels beneath as some lubricant will drip. Works perfect, you’re trying to lubricate all the joints if you can see them.
