Hi Guys and Gals

Trying to get some info from any of you that have collected from Stuttgart?

I will be going for factory collection in May and was wondering if any of you had done this trip mainly regarding places to visit on the way back?

I have been to Bremen in the past and stopped in Amsterdam, Stuggart seems to have a few more routes back to the UK.

Any help greatly appreciated

Shan

Thanks Blobcat.

That's correct. I just did it only 3 weeks ago. Had really a wonderful experience. Been to Stuttgart as well many times, both for pleasure and work. Nice city. All about MB, Porsche and Bosch though.

Can recommend to stop in Luxemburg. Cheapest fuel in Europe (petrol costs nothing compared to UK). Plenty of sights in the city itself. Or go via the Mosel south of Bonn and stop to get some decent wine. Very nice scenery as well.

Of course, you also have Strasbourgh, Metz, Nancy, Baden-Baden which are all very nice places to visit. I would avoid Brussels though as the belgians have a habbit of bad driving/temper. Did you know that they did not require anyone over 18 to have a drivers licence until 1985?!

I was going to say check out the Rhine Valley. It's magnificent. Lots of nice castles and villages and excellent views. The rotating MB badge above the train station in Stuttgart is brilliant at night.
