Sunroof - electrical supply failure

W124 TD diesel, slide/ tilt sunroof `expired`, safely closed (manually), I have tried two spare (!) motors but nothing-is there a seperate supply relay or something obvious to check ?? (Apparently NOT covered in my Haynes manual !) Extremely rural location prevents calling in freindly auto electrician....
