sunroof motor?

sunroof gave up the ghost the other day, after being a bit iffy on closing for a while. Finally gave up when wife was retuning from Birmingham (only a 4hr trip and when it got dark it also got very cold, talk about ear ache) Closed it manually with a spanner when she returned.

The question is do I just replace the motor or is there something else I should check first before I shell out for a new motor.

Any advice would be grateflly received

I would just replace the motor unless their was some other symptom to something else being wrong.

But ear muffs would be cheaper!

The fault could be the fuse or switch, check these before you shell out on a motor

taken a while to get time to check, appears to be the switch

Can anyone tell me which pins that plug into the switch do what so that i can check that all is well with the motor before i get the new switch?

Though not a switch cleaner squirt some WD 40 into it rocking the switch as you do it, if it solves it you will know to replace the switch
