I have a Mercedes C Class and when I press the button to open it, it opens a little and stops when you press it again it does the same. It closes ok. Does any one know what it might be.

The runners could be seizing up/ clogged with rubbish don't force it or you could be in for an expensive bill

Open the whole way, and hold the button open in that position for 5/10 sec.
Close completely and hold button in that position for 5/10 secs,

This is to teach the control where the open and closed positions are, especially after a power interuption, the same as for the windows.
