Sunroof

The wind deflector on my 123 series no longer stands up when the sunroof is opened. I have ordered two new springs but the design has changed. With the replacement springs came two new small plastic parts and I can not for the life of me work out how the fit so that they are effective. Anybody had any experience of this? I have asked Mercedes if there is instruction on this but so far blank expressions.

Also they are having extreme difficulties in supplying the left and right weather seals. I have spoken to the local Webasto sunroof dealer who was very surprised at this. Anybody know the part number?
