It would appear that a). I unintentionally caused a small amount of friction.

Whack 500ml of 2 stroke in it every fill up for extra lubricuty :grin:

Really, we do what we do because we think it makes it better. For us.

Fact is the multi billion pound oil industry probably knows better than we do even if we think they don't and if they can sell us some extra 2 stoke oil or some branded snake oil diesel at whatever pence per litre+ a premium they will. And we'll buy it. And argue the toss on the web.

Petrol is much better anyway.

As does most if not all other brands but it's the extras added during the tanker fill that differentiates them.
