Suspension clean up

Has anyone done a clean up & preservation job on front suspension components? I'm wondering what materials work on the alloy bits.

For protection on suspension components, I used some of my motorcycle items... ACF50 and FS365 :)

I'd say go with ACF50, if you are not sure how to apply, there's lots of motorcycle videos on YouTube showing how to do it.

I personally buy the large bottle but use a flairosol fine mist spray bottle. Works a treat on cars for me but, prep is key.
