Hi all
A class W169 2010. Can anyone advise where this little twin switch fits. A bit has broken off but I can’t see anywhere it’s come from to reattach. It was dangling near the bonnet catch.

From Googling I think this is the switch that triggers the alarm if bonnet opened. Still can’t see where it locates.

If thats the case, you alarm will always ring or not trigger - any issues there.

The switch can only go so far due to the cable legnth, follow the bend in the cable to figure out where it could have come from.

based on what I mention. looks like ot goes down near the bonnet release latch which ties into what you suspect it may be for.
