Please please help me , My Mercedes c350e has a fault code

But no sign on dashboard
I’ve changed the switchover valve by aRAC Mercedes technician but now I’ve a sign come on dashboard malfunction with two ring sign on , and called the RAC again after scan the same fault came the switchover valve , RAC guy told me need to send it to Mercedes garage.
Since the switchover valve changed I can hair the valve running all the time when ignition on and the coolant pump to battery coolant tank the white one ( not the filling tank) like water constantly coming to the tank . So my question is this normal for all cars? I’ve never noticed it before. It’s bit noisy too.
The dashboard message only comes when the car running, when I stop for a bit it gos away but come again . Please help me, thanks
