Tail light errors and failure to switch off

I have a 2010 E350 Cabriolet
All my tail light fail. They throw erros and stay on until the battery is disconnected
If everything is working fine during the day, the tail lights will switch on by itself and then the errors will start displaying when you start

What could this possibly be?

If its only the tail lights, and they are randomly lit up, this usually indicates a fault with the rear SAM module.

When mine were staying on it was an earth wire from the abs pump causing canbus issues.
