I have a 2012 C250 diesel estate. It has a power tailgate lift. Sometimes the mechanism creaks and jerks when lifting or falling. Should I worry about this, is it a sign of imminent failure? or does it just need some kind of lubrication?
The struts just look like ordinary gas struts, I can't see how it works.
