Talk me out of buying this from eBay, for my W210 Avantgarde.

I'd like to consider this below my usual lofty standards of correctness.

I believe that this is normally purchased by the type of Chav that drive those 'Rude' Mercedes.

However, now that the new C-Class has a similar grill, I find myself confused and bewildered.

Please help.

Oh, but I can assure everyone that I definately will not be considering the chrome wing mirror covers and door pull inserts.

personally speaking, i've always disliked the big fat merc symbol in the middle of a grill regardless of whether it's a new or old model,

i far prefer the elegant lines of the classic mercedes grill coupled with a bright shining star at the top of the bonnet,

i think the grill in the photo above, may look shiney now, but in years to come will look like the ugliest thing ever done to your otherwise lovely car

so DON'T do it !

Only venture onto Ebay when your looking for something thats my motto, idle shopping is bad for your image. The word hideous comes to mind and to prove the point they don't show the item fitted to a 210 car.

Don't do it, but if you do you will require blacked out windows and various other chrome bits to finish the job, and don't park on street corners, lol.

Funny you should post that up,I thought about putting the new grill on mine as it has 3 chrome strips on it, having walked around a big dealer today I am going off the idea, they look cheap and tacky, I may just do my one in black.

Take a look around your local dealer and think about it for some time

Well, I was able to resist until this morning. I'm feeling a lot more like myself now, and my chrome fetish has gone, thankfully.

However, I do have a long standing wood fetish, and the door handles on that site would match my loverly new steering wheel quite nicely.
