Hi Everyone
Some advice would be welcomed with this one.
I am in the process of replacing the cylinder head gasket on my 208d 2.3 1991 om601.940 engine and need advice on making sure that the engine is at TDC before removing the head.
What posion should the cam lobes be at on the #1 piston cylinder when TDC? I have lined the the crankshaft wheel up with the markings and the cam lobes are at roughly 10 to 2 when looking from the front end does this sound correct?

All sorted out, thanks but now having problems trying to remove the guide rail pins for the timing chain. Have all the right tools for the job but they are not budging, any advice with this problem would be welcomed.
