temp/clock

I have a c200 1996 i have had it about a week and i cant figure out how to get the clock or outside temp gauge to light up can any one help or is it simple case of blown bulb? if so can these be changed easy? Any help would be great thanks.

The bulbs are easy to replace once you have the instrument cluster out,this shows you how to do that; http://202tech.mkosonen.com/howto/instrument.html .Disconnect the battery earth lead before starting the job to prevent activating the SRS light.

Seems a bit drastic to change a bulb. Don't think I have the necessary expertise to pull this off so I think I may have to live with it!!

What sort of money would an indie charge to do this?

I think that you could allow I hour to do this, 1.5 at the most.
